Mark you calendars folks, on Jan 16th at 10/9C Investigation Discovery will be debuting In Pursuit with John Walsh.

Even if you aren’t a true crime fan, you are likely familiar with John Walsh. It was late July in 1981 when 6 year-old Adam Walsh went to the mall with his mother in Hollywood, FL. and went missing. This particular case shook the nation and sprung a massive hunt for young Adam who unfortunately was found by two fishermen sixteen days later on Aug. 10, 1981. Adam’s head was found floating in a Florida canal, and the nation mourned. The killer is thought to be well-known murderer and pedophile 36 year-old Ottis Toole.

Adam’s highly publicized death would go on to change how America deals with missing children. Adam’s father, John Walsh, would soon become the face of activism of missing children and even had a heavy hand in placing missing kids’ faces on milk cartons.

Mr. Walsh would go on to co-found the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children – and four years later, he started hosting America’s Most Wanted which focused on finding the nations most notorious criminals and wanted most by law enforcement. The show debuted in 1994 was extremely successful and likely saved scores of lives.

Now John Walsh is back with his new show, In Pursuit, which focuses on finding fugitives as well as missing children. Hey – if anyone can do it, he’s your guy, that’s for sure. His eldest son, Callahan Walsh, will also be featured in the show.

Let’s take a peek and then some feedback from social media who are definitely excited about the new series.
