As we told you earlier, Jamie Lee Curtis Returns is set to return this year in a new installment of the Halloween franchise that just announced via Twitter that the first trailer will be out on Friday, and fans are fired up.

According to Blum the latest Halloween storyline will feature a British-based documentary crew that travels to the US to study the notorious Michael Myers. And to nobody’s surprise, Myers escapes custody and once again goes after sister, Laurie Strode, only after grabbing his iconic mask that has scared the hell out of audiences for decades.

In anticipation of her brother’s return, Strode has already prepped herself for Michael’s terror and is ready take him on in order to protect her family that now includes daughter Karen (played by Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson who is played by Andi Matichak.

On Friday the new trailer will come our way and needless to say fans are just a tad excited – and we don’t blame them. Here are some thoughts from social media as well as the quick video of the recent announcement on Twitter.

With the releases of Matt Dillon’s new film (and already notorious) The House That Jack Built, to Matthew McConaughey’s newest, true crime-based White Boy Rick and the return of Jamie Lee Curtis in the latest of the Halloween franchise, it’s fair to say that Fall is looking great so far.
