Hey ‘Cold Justice’ Fans. Oxygen is set to kick off an all-new season on Saturday, August 4 at 6/5c.

What to expect from the first episode? Season 5 kicks off with an episode entitled, Small Town Secrets.

The team will travel to Oneida County, Wisconsin to investigate an unsolved murder that will ultimately reveal “a town’s dark side…” according Oxygen.  The crew apparently discovers crimes against children with ties to a local church. The victim in question was both a wife and mother, Barbara Mendez.

Sounds interesting, indeed. Then again, so do all of the episodes. Why? Because they are good. Each episode has grit and never leaves a stone unturned.

Let’s take a sneak peak at the official trailer from Oxygen:

More from Oxygen:

“Cold Justice” follows veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler, who partners with seasoned detectives, to dig into murder cases that have lingered for years without justice. Together with local law enforcement from across the country, the “Cold Justice” team has successfully helped generate approximately 35 arrests and 18 convictions…

And one thing is for sure, it’s very popular with viewers. Both Siegler and her team are wicked smart and don’t take guff from anyone, which hits home with many fans.

“‘Cold Justice’ and ‘Criminal Confessions’ have resonated with our audience as they share a common passion in seeing the journey of justice served,” said Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media.  “We’re thrilled to bring fans new seasons of both shows and to continue working with our amazing producing partners Dick Wolf, Magical Elves and Shed Media in delivering high-quality crime programming.”

And when we say popular, we mean really popular:
