Peter Fonda Goes On Bizarre Twitter Rant Against Trump – Secret Service Involved

Peter Fonda rants against trump

UPDATE: Representative for Fonda has released the following statement:

Earlier today actor Peter Fonda let loose on the border situation and Donald Trump in a series of bizarre tweets, even at one point seeming suggesting that the President’s son should be kidnapped, and now the Secret Service has reportedly been contacted by the First Lady.

Fonda, the father of actress Bridget Fonda, has appeared in several films and will probably always be best known for his role in 1969’s Easy Rider.

As we’ve reported before, sometimes celebrities take to social media to rant about this, that, or the other thing. Today, in the series of profanity-laced tweets, Fonda made it clear that he isn’t happy with the border situation and his comments didn’t go unnoticed.

Let’s take a look at a sample of his tweets and then some feedback.

Here actor Nick Searcy (The Shape of Water, Justified) lends his thoughts (pro-tip: don’t mess with Nick.)

Back to Mr. Fonda’s feed, he then continued and turned his attention to targeting the children of ICE agents. As expected, the tweet appears to now be deleted, but we saved a screenshot for you.

However, some out there are showing their support for Fonda. In what appears to be another deleted tweet, Josh Fox gave his opinion, but quickly received backlash.

Yep, @NoRestrictions, we have a feeling that you’re absolutely right.

Breaking now, it appears that the Secret Service is now involved.
