Alrighty folks, time to catch up the Byrde family and the new season of ‘Ozark’ which will return on August 31st.
As if the Byrde brood need any new problems, now they can add working with local crime bosses, the Snell family, which will now include Ruthie’s father Cade Snell (who was just released from prison) to their laundry list. Oh yes, they have their work cut out for them – and then some. There’s also that small problem with the FBI…
To top things off there’s a new hard-ass attorney in town that has a thing or two to take up with Marty (played by Jason Bateman.) Given the new plot twists we are betting this is going to be some pretty compelling television, just as season one delivered.
Let’s take a look at the new trailer that was just dropped by Netflix:
A few more details from Netflix:
In its much-anticipated second season, Ozark continues to follow Marty Byrde and his family as they navigate the murky waters of life within a dangerous drug cartel. With Del out, the crime syndicate sends their ruthless attorney Helen Pierce to town to shake things up just as The Byrdes are finally settling in. Marty and Wendy struggle to balance their family interests amid the escalating dangers presented by their partnerships with the power-hungry Snells, the cartel and their new deputy, Ruth Langmore, whose father Cade has been released from prison. The stakes are even higher than before and The Byrdes soon realize they have to go all in before they can get out.
